Audiobook

Felt like the last chapter was missing. There wasn’t really a conclusion after all that build up.

I really need to stop reading romance and smut. It’s making me feel lonely

It's cute, chatty. An obvious setup but still likable.

Grghhhhhhhh. I was so happy when I started reading this. At some point I realized I was reading a reworked fanfic because it sounded like a fanfic in my head and I had certain characters in my mind too. And I love shit like this in my fanfics! But then suddenly... what the hell was that ending. Where were the emotions?! Where was the angst, the yearning, the much better "we-should-talk" than the one we got?! I feel sort of angry because she started it well and then just. Gah. Please don't write things, books or novellas or fanfics just to get to a pages long smut at the end. There's a thing called erotica for that.

This one might have been my favorite of the three novellas. It must be because I really enjoyed Mara's sense of humor and silliness. She was written in a way that made me love her almost immediately. I may also have a weak spot for the roommate to lovers plot. I think that of all the men Hazelwood wrote in her novella collection, Liam is my favorite. One, he has dark hair, but also, the little details about him as a person that Mara slowly learned, made me also fall for him. One detail in particular - he watched and analyzed The Bachelorette with Mara. That is a friggin keeper.
