A solid, quirky romance! Enchanting magic system, funny and lovable characters, a couple with a past. The opening scene is two young cousins accidentally and drunkenly cursing one of their exes with a Bath and Body Works candle. Now they have to find a way to undo it with a cast of funny women, modern ghosts, and an English boy with an asshole dad. Meanwhile, perhaps their feelings for each other haven't dissipated as much as they thought.

Too spicy - more story needed
God I love a good romance. This book is such a fun concept, trying to fake hex your ex to get over your break up. Come to find out you actually hex him. Like who doesn’t want to read that. The town is such a fun setting to be in. And the fact that they have a college for witches and there are multiple witches in the town not just the main characters is also so much fun. Witch rivalries? Who doesn’t want that? And even though Second Chance Romances don’t always hit for me, this one does. This is the perfect book to read right before Halloween. I might read it again next year.
This book was so cute and a little spicy. I enjoyed the love story and the story of how to break the curse. It’s a great read for spooky season if you’re looking for something lighter.

Maybe closer to 2.5
This book is just a bit of fun, though the writing felt a bit clunky at times (particularly the parts that are supposed to sound more "UK").
It's an easy read, one that you generally shouldn't think too deep into or the gaps start to show. I think it would have benefitted from delving a bit more into what was supposed to be the main plot rather than the romantic side quests, but again, it is just a light hearted fun read.
To be honest it bounces between a fun time and slightly painful-to-read paragraphs, the first half is probably stronger.
P.S - I beg this author to stop trying to make "shag" romantic
