Delicious setup for the next book. Story focused on Nephele and Niri. Many fun story nuggets to unravel in the next book. Can't wait to find out what's in the orbs??!!!??

This was my favorite yet in this series. I loved Nephele and her journey with Neri.
I'm excited for the next book.

Sassy FMC and arrogant-can-dish-it-back MMC?! YESSSSSSS. As much as I enjoy Alexus and Raina, Nephele and Neri were definitely the personality types that I enjoy the most.
I wasn't sure about this "novella" at first other than the fact based on City of Ruin I knew I was definitely interested in their chemistry; however, this book ended up being really important to the overall plot and almost an information dump. It confirmed the ending of City of Ruin and shed more light of what happened 300 years ago. It's kind of crazy with what happened and the connections all the characters truly have with each other. I also liked learning a little more of the Bloodgood sisters' background. We definitely get nothing with Raina in this book, but this was a story that was important.
I also appreciated that this book wasn't longer than it was. After City of Ruin, having this long novella was definitely a relief for me since I binged #2 and this one back-to-back quickly. I also felt like the story was said in the length it was. Nothing more was needed for Nephele and Neri's romance, which is definitely a strong plot line in this book.
Looking forward to the 4th book a lot based on what this book kind of foreshadows what Raina will have to go through.

To much focus on the sex , the story has so much potential but it is becoming more a erotic novel! I hope the next book will focus on the plot!

I thoroughly enjoyed this! I didn't think it could get better than Alexus but I think Neri has done it...
