To anyone who’d like to read this book, who is now flying over the 75 thousand reviews this book currently has, and is trying to gain an impression of wether it is worth it or not.. just this much:
“The Little Prince” is a short story of (depending what publisher you’re reading from) 100 pages. I never read books in one sitting, but it is not just an easy read, it is the only book which has touched me this much, in a WHILE. During his travels, the Little Prince encounters different men on their small planets, before coming to earth to ultimately meet the author.
This story, being published as a children’s book, helps to explain why and how you should measure what is important to you and why. In the end the Little Prince recognizes that“the most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, they are felt with the heart.”
Please read this book if you’d like to feel like a child again, as I was sitting here bawling my eyes out :’)

My dad got me this book 10 years ago and read it to me and I still reread it at least once a year…it’s just so timeless and comforting
2nd read, exactly one year after the first. More affecting this time. Have now read in Italian and Spanish. Next year will be French.
Esperei virar uma pessoa grande para finalmente ler O Pequeno Príncipe. Uma história que me fez refletir sobre os atropelos da vida, do capitalismo tardio, da "falta" de tempo para observar o que realmente importa.
For the first half of this book, I was frustrated and prepared to dismiss it. I was struggling to get the strange mixture of parable and story, and thought both could be done better. But then came the mysterious and haunting ending, with all of its profound wisdom on what it means to love someone, and now i’m prepared to admit that this book really is a classic.
"Num mundo que se faz deserto, temos sede de encontrar um amigo."
I was really strict when a gave it 1 star. Now i can see the real meaning of the book better and with a clearer point of view. Its a book for all ages.
