Some striking passages, but the writing started to annoy me a bit in Chapter 2 and onwards. The text is mostly telling a story, but once in a while it will very explicitly make a point and sometimes repeat it over and over again like the phrase "You play, you win, you play, you lose. You play." It also talked about God in an annoying (sorry, I guess I'm easily annoyed...) way, like they were all atheist Christians, undecided between following the cultural lead and believing or following their apathy and not believing, it seemed very silly.

(There was a bit of antisemitism too.)
