This probably deserves a lower rating because the ending was an absolute mess, but I enjoyed Carys’s character arc too much. And as much of a mess it was, Charbonneau is a compelling author.

It was just ok. I feel like there is potential for another book because of the open ended ending.I'd probably read it if there is but i wouldn't drop everything to read it

I CAN NOT EVEN!!! So I reread the first on right before I read this one just so it would all flow in my mind. And eleven though, I’ll be honest the first one was alright in my opinion, but this one just exceeded my expectations, the PLOTWISTS the EXPOSING the SECRETS and the deaths were just all in all amazing. I cried at the end which I hadn’t expected to happen but my attached to these characters was just undeniable. Joelle truly has a knack for character development I will say that! Definitely recommend, it’s an excellent book if you’re looking for something with familial bonds and just overall exciting adventures. I felt like I was along on the ride with the characters.
