I ran through this book. Like really really quick. Two days actually. It's a fast paced book, and it did keep me on my toes. It's well written too. But it has suffered the same way I felt after I finished Five Survive - its just so anticlimactic. It's not the fact that I was able to guess the mystery and the plot twist. It just has so much build up and it goes nowhere with it and it's truly so disappointing because I felt so drawn to the book and was excited to finish it. The motive felt flimsy and i wish it was elaborated on more, and even the circumstances of it all felt so forced. The shift in Bel's character is so sudden its almost like a switch was flipped and she was acting in ways completely antithetical to the way her character was written. I'm not against character development but it definitely is never that abrupt.

It's not a bad book but it just felt like a let down :/
