The ending shock me! But I do realise there was already clues all the way the book and I felt like smacking my head on table for not getting the clues, felt so obvious but there was lots of distractions along the way.

"The Reappearance of Rachel Price" had an intriguing premise and started strong with a mystery that spanned 16 years. While the setup was compelling, the story took some unexpected turns that made the resolution feel a bit too tidy.

The protagonist, Annabel, was a complex character, though not always easy to connect with. Some aspects of the plot, especially toward the end, required a suspension of disbelief, and certain character motivations felt a little hard to reconcile. That said, the book raises interesting questions about truth, memory, and family — even if not all of them are answered in a satisfying way.

Given the buzz around Holly Jackson, I had high expectations, and while this wasn't quite what I hoped for, it was still a page-turner.
