I don't know how she does it, but Holly Jackson just knows how to write a mystery that gets me hook, line and sinker. This book consumed me from the second I started and I just HAD to know what was going on. Absolutely brilliant story, perfectly paced and it had me guessing and second-guessing those guesses all the way.

nothing will ever compare to pip & ravi for me. the random romance with asher felt forced and unnecessary.

i had carter figured out about 40% in to the book, so that was lame.

i hate to say that i disliked the female MC as much as i did but she was just straight up mean… Not a cute & funny mean, just mean.

also the amount of times Charlie said kiddo was all i needed to pin it all on him.

it was a good & fast read, but nothing extremely riveting for me, i didn’t feel my jaw drop once :/
