Pleasantly surprised by this title. Lots of action and not a lot of fluff. I can't wait to continue the series and see what is in store for Scot Harvath.

Excellent! there was non-stop action and I couldn't put it down most of the time. Written really well and interesting. Looking forward to reading to next one.

The writing itself wasn't great, and the e-book I borrowed from the library had very odd spacing, yet I found I couldn't put this book down! The story, the characters, and the thrilling adventure just kept me reading, and I'm looking for the next in the series.

I liked this one. The action was well paced and the story itself was a fun read. I am looking forward to getting the second book in the series from the library.

I came to this series via Jack Carr. After reading his first book, The Terminal List, then watching his new TV series...then rereading his book...I saw a tweet that he sent...talking about Brad Thor's latest book.

It got me interested in an author that I'd seen, but had never read. I then went to my local library...to see if he had a series that would interest me. That is when I was introduced to Scot Harvath.

This book was a LOT of fun to read.

I felt for Scot, though put in an impossible place...fought his way out (but not without help). Loved the Claudia character, too.

This is the beginning of a new relationship with a Mystery/Thriller series...that I will be reading for the foreseeable future.

I may have to wait some time between books, since I am trying to cut down in book purchases. Oof. I have over-extended myself these past few years (thanks pandemic).

Will soon be reading Path of the Assassin, by Brad Thor. Second book in the Scot Harvath series of books.
