Old enemies threaten Zryan's and Alessia's realm Lucem - and in the end also Andhera and Midniva. The enemy seems unbeatable, and they all have to come together in order to save the three realms. It means that Zryan and Alessia need to put their own personal battle aside and once again fight side by side.

The last book in the trilogy focuses on the third brother, Zryan, and his queen Alessia. Zryan is not the best at being faithful to his wife and she's just about had enough. We also get to see Draven & Eden and Travion & Sereia again, which I appriciate! Of the three brothers it took me the longest to "get along" with Zryan. I have a hard time understanding and forgiving infidelity, so I didn't find him too sympathetic at first. But he growed on me, and there's no doubt that he really loves Alessia. If you consider that they've been together for several hundred years, maybe it's not that strange to get tired of each other once in a while?!

I didn't want this trilogy to end, so I might have read it a bit slowly... But I got some great news from one of the authors (Elle Beaumont): they are planning 2 spin offs! Yay! Hopefully I'll get to visit this world again in the future!
