Started somewhat slow. I feel it really didn’t pick up until 2/3 of the way through. Not a ton of action, but the last few chapters caught my attention and made me want to keep reading.

I literally checked out this audiobook from the library since it was available now and had zero expectations. Such an incredible read thats is both suspenseful and introspective. I love how this story made space for the character to reflect upon the passage of time and how, in retrospect, there are so many things we let pass us by without taking the time to enjoy.

This was a DNF. I really really wanted to like this book but at 23% I just wasn’t feeling it. Maybe I’ll try it again at some point but I really struggled with the writing style and everything seemed to be moving really slow.
