The book is pretty cool, but I wonder how dense it might seem to someone without all the context of cyberpunk movies, games and literature over the past few decades: Matrix, Ghost in the Shell, Tron, Shadowrun, Johnny Mnemonic, etc. Plus the idea of space habitats (space stations with whole landscapes and cities on the inside of a rotating drum). I would not recommend this book to a reader without this context. I do have this context, and I was able to enjoy and marvel at this, the beginning of the genre. This book makes you work for it, but it's a fun ride.

I don’t exactly want to read it again but I respect this novel for being the father of all cyberpunk— so many interesting tidbits that you can see in other media
Scenes would change between paragraphs without any indication, making it difficult to follow sometimes. I enjoyed it otherwise.
not sure what i just read, i guess i'm not that into sci fi...
Too much technobabble, could barely tell what was happening
