such a special little book! so simple, yet sometimes the description just hit you so hard. I want to reread this for sure, because although simple and concise, there are a lot of layers to take in
Although short, this novella packed such a punch. The prose writing style was so perfect for this story, and you just get glimpses into each moment of Red's life, and somehow that is more potent than if we had a novel length book of this story. The portrait of grief and love that was captured in this novella was incredible. I loved it.
