This may be the best memoir I've ever read. Molly is so positive and gracious, and appreciative of all of the things she's gone through. Even the rough stuff. She is a phenomenal storyteller. And, of course, hilarious.  But there is SO MUCH HEART in this book! I loved the inside look at her SNL days, and how she came up with her most iconic characters, but her openness with everything else was truly touching. I couldn't count how many times I cried. This was a surprising emotional read, and I loved every second if it!

Molly Shannon has such a wonderful and joyous outlook on life. I didn’t know much about her before and I still really enjoyed this memoir. She definitely has a story to tell and a unique outlook.

HIGHLY recommend the audiobook! Molly really brings the words to life with a lot of flair.

I liked this so so much. I liked the non-linear style, and I couldn't believe how upbeat Ms. Shannon has stayed through her whole life. Her relationship with her father felt disconcertingly familiar. She really captured the helplessness that children feel when their primary caregivers are inconsistent. But I think the most important part of this book is that Ms. Shannon doesn't apologize for any of her success. She easily says how successful things were and how funny they were and she's genuinely proud of her hustle without trying to downplay it. It was really refreshing. Absolutely recommend listening to the audiobook.
