I am glad I'm picking up the Eve Duncan series again. Really enjoyed this story about Galen. He's a great character.

Good quick read like all her books. Love the adventure story, could do without the romance, but her books are good enough that I can tolerate that part.

It seems the more I read of this author, the more romantic the books seem to be. Most of the recurring characters are pairing up now... I do like the book, and it had some twists to the plot, but I wasn't amazed by it.

A student leant this to me. Not my favorite but read it because I said I would lol. Definitely very action packed - lots of weird backstory all the characters had but nothing that invested me a ton. A little cliche but some good parts throughout.

Had wanted to read this author for a long time, but wasn't impressed. A quick read, but there are so much better books...

I am reading the Eve Duncan series but was becoming a bit bored with the same general plot book after book. This was refreshing and restored my interest in the series. Johansen is building characters in each book and is slowly weaving them all together. You often get a light bulb moment when you see a new character fit into the past story lines and you also start thinking ahead as to where these characters will play in the next book. Good job…
