I figured out the ending mid way through the book. An okay read.

I love Frieda books and have read many of hers but this one was not it for me. Figured out the twist pretty early on and felt like it was slower than her others.

Kept me on my toes. I never knew what was coming next. A good ending too. A little cringy at parts as someone who works in mental health, but I appreciated that she consulted with professionals and used accurate facts/statements.

Instantly felt on edge! I was constantly second guessing which characters to trust. The stakes were high - had me questioning my own sanity!
In no way is this realistic in its depiction of a psychiatric ward, it also makes for a terrible representation of mental health BUT it works as a fast paced popcorn thriller.

Dear Lord this book kept me guessing. FMC goes into a psych ward as a med student and everything goes wrong. Every twist and turn had me on edge and gasping!
