I generally go through weightier devotions for Lent but I really loved Rohr's approach. The daily readings are short but not without amazing insight and thought-provoking revelations. I appreciated the "starter prayers" at the end of each day: Rohr does not write out a full prayer but rather starts us off with a few sentences of a prayer that we can then pick-up and make our own. I will be going through this again!

It started quite beautifully and deteriorated in quality and orthodoxy as it went on.

This was actually a good read for an agnostic non-catholic. It provides good reflections based on bible readings, giving hints but not telling anyone exactly where to go with their thoughts. I liked the style, and I actually did read only one reflection each day. It's also a good guide through the whole Passion story. Recommended for anyone who feels they maybe should "do" something for Lent one of these years, but doesn't exactly know what.
