Piper Rayne's first true standalone was a winner for me! I loved this grumpy sunshine holiday romance. Kenzie and Andrew were so much fun. I loved Andrew's grumpiness and love British heroes so he was perfect. Kenzie was a hoot and had me laughing out loud a few times. If you enjoy holiday romances, pick this one up!

I didn't like the MMC. The story didn't grab me.

You can always tell if it’s a good book if I finish it in a day but this one didn’t even make it 12 hours! It was so good I couldn’t put it down! This is the perfect book to get you into the holiday spirit! It is even snowing today as I read this!

The holiday aspects are so cute and are perfect, not beating you over the head with candy canes this and that but give you that warm fuzzy feeling.

There were moments that had me giggling, full on laughing, and some that had my cheeks the color of Santa’s coat but it was Ho Ho Ho good!

Though this book reads very fast and could have done with a little bit more development of plot and character I really enjoyed it, especially for a holiday book and I think the opposites attract was well done at the end of the day. again, I do think there could’ve been slightly more details and flushing out of the storyline, but I basically finish this book in less than 24 hours so I can’t say it was bad.

SPOILERS!

The engagement as the response to their first “fight” made me roll my eyes. That to me was not believable at all. 🤷🏼‍♀️

this was fun and cute!! i really really loved andrew in the beginning (a chivalrous king) but didn’t love his choice of words during the infamous third act breakup lol. also wasn’t a huge fan of the ending it just felt superrrrr rushed and out of nowhere to me (still cute, i still swoon) but despite that was still a perf little christmas read :)

This book was ok, kinda boring. I liked the characters but the plot didn't interest me at all.
