My first read of 2025 was a doozy. 

I remember really liking Madison Kate. I'm pretty sure Hades is going to blow her out of the water. 

I can't remember what happened in Madison Kate because my brain disease leaves me with short term memory like a goldfish, so some of it was confusing. Like, am I supposed to know this or not? But I just went with it and figured enough out. 

There's lots of sex, lots of suspense, lots of mystery. I like Hades, I like her 3 love interests. I'm super excited to see how this story unfolds and what happens. 

The audio is again, fantastic. Lucas Webley and Noelle Bridges are phenomenal in this duet narration. I'm so happy to get to listen to them throughout the series.

We love a badass FMC who calls the shots and takes no bullshit. Does Hades need a man? No, but then we wouldn’t get the steamy spicy scenes that Tate James so masterfully creates. Also a motorcycle named Fat Bob? Sign me up!

by the way everyone kept hyping this series up and saying it was better than the madison kate series, i’m kinda let down. it’s only the first book and hades already had sex with lucas and

made out with cas

like where is the slow burn?? i’m glad she and zed didn’t do anything in this book because that would’ve been frustrating. it’s still great narration and an interesting plot so i’ll continue to the next book!

Like all Tate James books this ends on a massive cliffhanger. Fantastic read, the plot is absorbing and the characters are complex.

This was AMAZING! Tate has delivered another relatable, lovable main character. This is a spin-off of the Madison Kate series, but I enjoy that it didn’t have to be read after the MK series, it’s able to stand alone. It does help to read MK first, as I think it lends to some character development and background you wouldn’t other wise get if you haven’t read those. 

<Spoiler> I LOVE THAT HADES IS A BADASS WOMAN OMG <Spoiler over>. I can’t wait to read the next one, I need it NOW!
