It’s been quite awhile since I read the Farseer trilogy and I was apprehensive at getting back into this world. I shouldn’t have been. Hobb’s excellent prose and careful delivery of detail made it like slowly slipping into a favorite pair of warm pajamas. The action in this book takes a bit of time to get there so if you’re not into a bit of a slow burn this could annoy you but it’s definitely worth the read. I can’t wait to see what’s next for Fitz and Fool. Starting the next book in 3… 2… 1…
