I loved seeing Frieren be fucking awesome! I also loved seeing more of her early life and how she came to meet Flamme. I already know for sure I'm going to love the next volume based on the last chapter in this one. The little peek into when Frieren met Himmel and the gang and how low her self-esteem was at the time - well it's just setting me up to sob lol. It's making it harder and harder not to deeply care about Frieren.

I adore the backstory for some of the characters that we get in this volume. The world and this manga is so rich and expanse, but also doesn't feel overwhelming.

The final scene with Aura is and will always be peak max gold. It is so well executed. It really expands on the magic system in such a genius way.

Also, I love Kraft so much and hope we see more of him.
