Finally starting my re-read of this series! Read it in a couple of hours as it’s only 162 pages. Though this book is technically a children’s book, it really holds up. Count Olaf is still a terrifying villain and the story was a lot of fun to read again. Excited to re-read the next 12!

I found this book to be interesting. I was looking for a short Audio book to listen to while I was cleaning and doing other things today, and decide to listen to this since it was only two and half hours long. I never read this series when I was younger like most people, but I have seen the movie and enjoy it so I figured why not listen to this. I really enjoyed who read this book, he had a captivating voice that just drawls you right in. I also found the story to be interesting, the farther along it when the more I wanted to know what was gonna happen next. I did have an idea of what was gonna happen in this book, mainly due to have seen the movie, which by the way is almost completely different, but I was still curious as to what was gonna happen and how it was going to come about.
All in all I enjoyed this book and plan on continuing with the series.
