I love Lily Gold and every single why choose spicy romance she writes. This one is no different and I devoured it whole! Our FMC has it ROUGH, but survives the worst thing that’s ever happened to her with the help of 3 Swedish mountain men that just so happen to like sharing a woman and live in a cabin prone to snow-ins… what could go wrong?

Lily Gold books are so fun. This one is full of some of my favorite tropes, and all the smut my little heart could desire. The audio for this one is also great, and the male narrator does a great job of using different voices for each of the men's POVs.

POV: multiple first person

You can expect: why choose, stranded, snowed in, forced proximity, doctor MMC, ski instructor MMC, wildlife ranger MMC, strangers to lovers, opposites attract, black cat MMC, Golden Retriever MMC, Rottweiler MMC, artist FMC, "who did this to you", found family.

Rep: Black MMC

Spice: 4/5

CW: car accident, past false imprisonment, revenge porn

Daisy is her name and she's in Sweden to paint the Northern Lights. That's her story and she's sticking to it. No, there is no terrible ex whose cruel actions she's escaping. No, there is no great judgment from people she once thought close, that she can't bear to look at anymore. No, there is no job she was fired from in disgrace that she can't go back to.

She's just Daisy. A pretty typical Northern Lights tourist.

But then there is a damn moose in the road and she crashes her car leading her into the home of three incredibly attractive men. There is Eli the vivacious ski instructor who warms to her immediately, but holds hurt from past betrayal of a lover and his friends. Next is Riven, the mostly stoic doctor who, before long, comes to care for Daisy, but can't help but fear the worst when he hears misleading information. Finally, there is Cole, the tourist-hating ranger who has let shadows of a relationship past harden his heart. As Daisy and the three men grow closer and closer together, erotic escapades are just the beginning. Soon, they find themselves falling, but lucky for Daisy, the men are all about sharing.

Then, that ex that Daisy definitely didn't have comes calling and things shatter. With high stakes, can the four of them come together again?

Three Swedish Mountain Men is a wonderful sexual fantasy to read. The characters are clearly carved and lovable in their own ways. The romantic scenes are well-written and enticing. The stakes are well-played and believable within the novel. This book was thoroughly enjoyable and I am likely to read more of Lily Gold's work.
