So... I really enjoyed this book. I read the first half in a couple of days and then the other half after like 3 months... There's nothing wrong with the book, I was just not in the mood to keep reading it and then forgot about it.
Having read Faking with Benefits and this one, I found that this is a common denominator with Lily's books, there are pretty heavy subjects on them but it's cohesive with the plot and with the characters. I enjoy that, it makes me think and feel and that's great.
The plot, the smut was on point and honestly the location? Made me want to go to Sweden and be there, it all sounded beautiful.

The only thing was that Cole was such an asshole for such a long time, and then he was still an asshole when he went and saved her until they are all ok? idk felt a bit too rushed..

I loved this book just like all the others, their stories and motivations, their relationships and the natural progression of them. Ugh I just love it always!!
I do think of the ones I’ve read so far (Faking With Benefits and Triple Duty Bodyguards) this one is probably number 3 on the list.
It was the shortest of the bunch and I think that worked for the story but there were times were I did want a little bit more. This is not a 4 star for me—it’s a 4.75 star!! I loved it. Just slightly less than the others.

My least favourite Lily Gold. This felt a lot like a carbon copy of her other books with less plot - they just immediately forgot about the ex lurking around. Still enjoyed, but would read others of hers.
