A few LOL moments but some of the stylistic choices were overdone. She's a good writer but I think her style of comedy comes across better physically

Nothing great about it. I honestly don’t really remember much of what she wrote/talked about (I listened to the audiobook).

no, YOU are reading too many books with "Squirrel" in the title this month!
My Squirrel Days was just the kind of upbeat, slightly goofy book I needed right now...about 35 days deeps into our COVID-19 self-isolation. I listened to the audiobook which is narrated by Ellie herself. She is so bubbly and energetic.

3.5 stars. Only rounding up because this was a short easy read. Barely any substance though.

Not a bad book, not a great book. I will say that comedy writers are the superior memoir writers though. I think I was looking for more stories about her time on The Office, Bridesmaids, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. I think it’s so cool how many comedy actors and writers start out at UCB though. She also pees herself laughing a lot. lol
