A true rom-com. A bit of steam, made me blush at points and giggle. I’m a sucker for a cheesy love story. Nothing like a good enemies to lovers story. I really liked the characters and enjoyed the humorous bits.

I really enjoyed this book. I don’t know why I put it off so long. Lucy and Josh had some of the best banter I have read, and that’s saying a lot seeing that I am constantly reading romances. Even when their banter was supposed to be hateful it was still flirtatious and their silly competitions with each other in the workplace were always cute. Even as silly as their workplace competitions got, I didn’t find them too immature because both characters still seemed intelligent and funny, which I really appreciated.

To me it was obvious Josh likes her the whole book and there wasn’t any real hate involved. He really grew on me and ended up being kindhearted under the hard exterior. And their eventual sex scene was so slow, tender, and sweat that I almost swooned. The only thing that kind of bothered me was Josh being rediculious and controlling with Lucy around other men.
