IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THIS SERIES DO NOTTT READ THIS REVIEW, YOU WILL BE SPOILED LIKE A LOT LIKE SEVERELY
I can't believe it took me this long to read this seriesss.
Was anyone else like Gansey isn't gonna die? I was fully convinced that he was not going to die (even though Maggie Stiefvater herself said he was going to die, and like it was hinted throughout all four of the books). But it's all good like my love came back so we're good. I had a lot of pretty crazy predictions that made it so Gansey didn't have to die, but like none of those came true so whatever.
Okay I feel like Henry is such an underrated character. This guy was able to like take in all of this stuff about Cabeswater within a few hours, lie honestly I wouldn't have been able to do that. I probably would have gone in sane.
BLUESEY!!!!! Omg i love them, like Adam and Blue were cute and all but we all knew it was going to be bluesey forever. I was like screaming at Blue in the first book like what are you doing!!!!!! You literally just saw Gansey on the St. Marks day or whatever it's called, which means you either killed them, or they're you're true love. Unfortunately for Blue, she did both. So yeah, when Blue and Adam like "dated" (were they really dating because honestly it was kinda just a lot of like holding hands and like saying they like each other-- it was a very like middle school relationship, so I really didn't feel like they were actually dating). Anyway i was just like Blue you're gonna end up breaking Adam's heart, like you're obviously in love with his best friend. Omg can we just take a moment and reminisce to back when Gansey and Blue's relationship was just a secret, and like Gansey would look forward to the ***possibility*** of Blue calling that night, like wow they clearly love each other. Then like the times when Blue needed to get away so she just called Gansey and he picked her up and they just went for a ride together and could like actually be in a relationship together without having to worry about Ronan and Adam. Omg and every time Blue was like crying and needed someone to console her, and gansey had to just stand there and be like im hugging you in spirit. Like that was awful, like just come out to you're friends that you two love eachother and like can't be apart or I will physically die, and mentally shutdown. We don't want that. Ugh omg there was just so many Bluesey moments, I can't begin to list all of them.
PYNCH: I was a believer in these two since blue and adam "broke up". They obviously like loved each other, and Ronan like really cared for Adam; HE DREAMT HIM LOTION FOR HIS HANDS AND VISITED HIM WHILE HE WAS WORKING. I mean if that isn't love idk what love is. Ronan was also the one who beat up Robert Parrish and finally convinced Adam to move out, after Gansey like begging him to leave, it was Ronan who ultimately convinced him. Ronan was the one who got him the room in the church, and made him pay less rent so he could afford to go to Aglionby. Ronan acts tough but he is such a sweetheart like I love him so much. BTW when Adam was like in the barns with the rest of the gang, and he like left to go to the bathroom or whatever, and he's like stopping to look at the pictures i was like this is it, this is when they're going to kiss. Surprise suprise!!! Ahhhhh that was so amazing. I love how Ronan just like left, like he literally just didn't say anything afterwards he just left. That was just like great. Another one of my favorite pynch moments was when Adam watched Ronan's dreamself die. Omg adam was so horrified and like so scared to see that again, I feel like that was the exact moment he realized that he loved Ronan. Ahh that was just so great I can't.
Okay now I need to talk about Blue and Ronan. Everytime Blue did something bad, and Ronan's just like I love you, like he was so proud of Blue for doing something bad. I mean I wish I was there to witness his reaction when Gansey told the boys about the prostitute thing. He would've been like dam what an F-ing savage. I really just love their relationship, like I need a relationship with a guy like that.
Ronan and Gansey....... ugh omg they're like an old married couple, and at the same time Gansey was Ronan's mom. Gansey is such a MOOOOOMMMMM. Omg like he watched out for all of them all the time, and he like made sure like no one got hurt like ahhh I love him. Ronan calling Gansey dad like gave me life though. Another one of my favorite one of their moments was like the very beginning of the first book when Ronan's just like dude i thought you were dead in a ditch, it was just such a ronan thing to do ya know. Oh, and ronan's inability to answer his phone was great. Gansey was like always trying to reach him, and Ronan's like ha you thought. So yeah I just really love their relationship, especially since Gansey has known Ronan from like the very beginning like they've been friends forever. OH! and Gansey like arranging for Ronan to keep on school just made me love him so much.
Ronan and Declan's relationship was also great like Declan drove four hours or so just to like go to church with his brothers, I'm sure there's a church in D.C. but nooooo Declan has to drive FOUR HOURS to go to church with his siblings. That's some serious brotherly love right there. Also Declan's reaction in the end to Ronan not going to college was just awesome like I loved that. I also loved how Declan liked Gansey better than Ronan, like that was pretty funny. They're relationship was just hysterical.
Alrighty these are my favorite relationships in the books.
Okay like i rate this series like five billion trillion infinity stars out of five. SOOOOOOOOOO dam good i can't even.

*DNF 90%
In this review, I will be talking about the entire series. My friend and I read this series at the same time together and if it wasn't for that I would have DNFed it during the first book but I wanted to give it a chance. I really don't understand all the hype with the book. I disliked the writing style of this book. The whole series just made absolutely no sense to me like wtf even happened in these 4 books. There were like 15 plots happening at the same time and I just didn't understand anything from the Latin trees to the sleeping king to Blue's true love dying when her true love kissed her. My friend told me the ending of the book so I DNFed it as soon as I found out the stupid ending. I just don't understand the entire book at all. The only character that I liked was Gansey but that's the only positive I have about the book series. This series was not for me and not something I would recommend.

- Recommend?! = Absolutely not, Probably my least favorite series I have ever read
- Fantasy/YA
- Physical, Audiobook
