Decided I’d wait for Winds of winter to have an announced release date before finishing

Felt enjoyable getting back to the other story lines with Jon, Daenerys and Tyrion but a part of me really missed the POV chapters from AFfC. But we will see in part 2

One of my least favourites of the series. I found myself missing Cersei chapters dearly. I think this feels like more of a slog due to being split from the previous book with these events happening at the same time - whilst it’s fun to find out what everyone else was doing it kind of disrupts the momentum of the plot. Anyway it was interesting to hear about Reek (yikes!!!) one more book to go until I’m caught up 🫨
