Perfect ending!!

I love the relationship between Pax and Rae. If I had a sibling I would hope they’d be like Pax. I loved being able to watch all of them grow individually as well as together!

Good follow up after the first book!! Sometimes I fill like some authors create sub plots for a more dramatic story and then forget about them for long periods of time and it felt like this here with the white cranes sometimes I totally forgot about their existence until they get brought up again. I wish the writer had spent more time on them and had made Rae more proactive concerning her safety instead of having her laugh it off!! Then to top it off we never got any closure with the Derek situation!! Also all of her doubts about Lincoln were super annoying especially after him telling her multiple times that she was all he wanted and that to him no other girl existed. Yet she still couldn’t fathom that he liked her it was frustrating. But all in all both books were cute and I enjoyed them I just wanted more!!

wanted more

3.5 stars. Half the book I wanted to reach through the book and strangle Lincoln. He kept ghosting Raegan, only to show back up to fool around. I’ll be honest the first half of the book I low key hated him. It wasn’t until some of his truths were spilled that I liked him again.

Rules are made to be broken!

Lincoln and Rae are fighting a losing battle. Fighting each other. Fighting themselves. Hiding from their wants. Hiding from their dreams. Standing in their own way- both separately and together in their mutual destruction.

I love that they find their way. I love that Rae and Pax find a way through their issues (not with each other!) I want more from that mess because I'm nosey but that's just me. (Team Mom! Down with the Dean!)

I totally get that a certain bff may have some secrets of her own...

I can't wait to read the rest of the series!
