From the opening line to a satisfying conclusion, I love this book and all the delicious banter within! This story is for everyone and especially those who have lived the expected life or taken the assumed path. Second chance romance is one of my favorite tropes and Jill Lynn does it right! The way Mackenzie and Jace clash and yet perfectly fit one another's imperfections is a beautiful thing.

The Wilders have quickly become one of my favorite fictional families! The Bull Rider's Secret certainly has me reexamining the whys in my own life and I deeply appreciate fiction which challenges my perspective, inspires me and spurs me into action. I highly recommend this story and I picked up a print copy to add to my all-time favorites shelf!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and was under no obligation to post a review. The opinions expressed are my own.

I give this story a 4.5. I loved the storyline and the humor sprinkled throughout was my favorite element. The only thing I wasn't wild about and why I docked it a half star was Jace's stubbornness was a little over the top for me. I literally wanted to shake sense into him at the end(which is ironic, since his head injuries were why his stubbornness drove me nuts!!) Jill has become a favorite for me and I will enjoy reading all her stories soon!

The Bull Rider’s Secret is the third book in the Colorado Grooms series by Jill Lynn. This series centers around three siblings, Mackenzie, Luc who are twins and their younger sister Emma. Luc and Mackenzie are close, but when Luc hires her old high school love, Jace Hawke, that really does not go well. Jace has been pursuing his “dream” of Bull Riding and is recovering from an injury and fighting demons from his past. Mackenzie is still hurt from when Jace left.

Mackenzie is a wonderful character who is full of life and incredibly love-able. Jill Lynn has a way of drawing you into her stories and her books are just plain fun to read. Her characters are people I would like to meet in real life who work through problems that matter. The book is sprinkled with wonderfully funny scenes like her sister's wedding and one that involves a mechanical bull. The romance between Mackenzie and Jace is fun and full of surprises.

This book is a stand alone book that you can read without having read the first two in the series. But, no one should miss out on a Jill Lynn book. I highly recommend The Bull Rider’s Secret.
