This one was a quite dark representation of gun control and shooting animals for fun instead of to eat. Our main character kept saying she was "seeing red" and was kind of a more evil version of Matilda.

Another silly book by Roald Dahl. I would have love to have read this to my classroom. They would have LOVED it. The illustrations in this edition were fabulous. I laughed out loud a couple of times.

Increased my rating the second time round because while I’m not the intended age range, it’s still a fun book to read with a message about not hunting that is good to teach children from a young age.
