I got through about 50% and then skimmed the rest. I’ve read other books by this author that I’ve liked but I couldn’t stay interested in this one.

Nikolai Vetrov has been asked to train students at St. Monarch's till his uncle could find a suitable replacement. Everything's fine & dandy until a certain Bratva spitfire joins the academy. She can't get her eyes off of Nikolai so she makes sure Nikolai gets the message loud and clear - Abi goads him, seduces him, flirts with him until Nikolai can't hold back anymore. Outside St. Monarch's, their families are rivals but Nikolai isn't going to let that stop wherever they're going with this relationship.

You're getting an age-gap romance with this novel (18 years! Whooho), one heck of a heroine who isn't shy of making her desires known and a hunky alpha male. It made for a good read but it would've been a lot more engaging if we were given supporting characters who could add more to the scenes. Without that, the entirety of the novel seemed like a two-person world.

“Thank you, Mr. Vetrov. I appreciate you making time to train me.”

I prefer ‘Daddy.’

Absolutely loved it. This is the 2nd book in the Corrupted Royals series and ohhhemmmgee was Nikolai yumm. I just knew from book 1 Destroy Me that kicked off the new series for Michelle that these dark, rugged, dangerous, possessive and oh so sexy men and the women they worship was going to be explosive...and boy was I right.

Abigail Sartori and Nikolai Vetrov are enemies or rather the bratva and her father aka the mafia are until there's a truce called that's a very thin line, but it won't take much to dissolve it, but Abby sets out to seduce Nikolai and he has no idea what he's in for, because he doesn't need a woman to disturb his life. Ha famous last words.

This book was just so good and those steamy hot scenes were

This book was alright. I didn't really feel that the two main characters fit well together, honestly. Abbie was a bit of a spoiled, annoying princess and honestly Nikolai was way out of her league. The daddy thing was way over the top and over done. Now, there is some action (ie trauma) and that was the greatest part of the story. I enjoyed reading her get through and deal with the trauma that she experienced. But the romance between them was my least favorite part of this book. They just didn't make sense as a couple.
