For the fourth installment, this is still a hilarious story. This story never fails to make me laugh.

The last 20% of this book was so good and funny. The characters . . . they are just a bunch of fuck ups. And it works. The last couple of books it was getting on my nerves but it worked really well in this one.

This is the fourth in the series, so you should pretty well know what you're getting in to by now. Bevans has written a story about fantasy role-playing characters who get sucked into the game, and acquire the physical appearance and abilities of their characters while retaining their real world knowledge and personalities.

Bevans is a good writer, and the books are very funny. This one mainly suffers a little because Bevans splits the party. Cooper, Tim, and Katherine off doing things on their own isn't as funny as Cooper, Tim, and Katherine doing things together where they can bounce off of and annoy each other. There's also a little bit of cast bloat, but overall that adds to the book as new people bring their viewpoints and problems (mainly problems) into the setting. So a couple of nitpicks, but still a very funny book. If you liked the first three, you aren't going to go wrong picking this one up.

Five stars because I would buy this again, will probably reread it, and would loan it to a friend.
