It’s a cute Christmas book. I’ve enjoyed all of the Mistletoe, Idaho series. The first one, Nick and Noel’s Playlist is my favorite. This is Holly, the youngest Winters’ story. Tropes are grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, relative’s wedding. If you’re looking for a fun, flirty, light holiday romance this will do it!

It started out cute but then got boring. Went from enemies to lovers but transformed into friends with benefits. Not for me. And the ending was lackluster.

This book started off very slow and it took me a while to get used to the characters but the holiday feels got me through the beginning of the book. Eventhough the first 100 pages took a while, I finished the rest of the book in one sitting and loved the characters towards the end.

Cute, just like the other books in this series! I love a good enemies to lovers romance, and the cast of characters in Mistletoe are always a good time :)

Less plot than merrys story, a little slow at first, but very cute. Best author for holiday season low stakes fluff stories

I read There’s Something About Merry last year and I probably should have read my review before committing to another 9.5 hour read. But I gave it a chance and liked the premise: A Christmas lover has a store next to a scrooge, and they prank each other at first. I love a good grumpy/sunshine book, so I decided to put up with the narration.

The male narrator, Skyler Hutchinson, sounds like he’s always yelling, especially when he does the MC’s voice, though he is better at others. Neither narrator really helped the story at all, and honestly, I think he very much detracted from the story, because I had a hard time getting past the narration to try to enjoy the story.

Told in 3rd person, Along Came Holly would have been fine as a novella, but there wasn’t enough meat in this story to fill 9.5 hours. I just never got over not liking Declan, both from his grumpiness and his voice. This one wasn’t the best listen for me though the story wasn’t that bad.

2.5 Stars, 3 Heat, 2.5 Narration

Another cozy romance.

Apesar deu ter gostado dos personagens, eu achei que o "amor" deles não foi tão bem construído que nem o dos outros dois livros. Achei repentino demais, mas ainda assim um good cozy holiday romance.

A very merry grumpy/sunshine trope for this holiday season.
