Haunting, beautiful, elegant, insightful. I'm not normally a fan of poetry and I really really enjoyed this.

Poignant, personal, powerful prose.
Makes you think, feel, contemplate, and want to take action.
Thank you Clint Smith!

What an amazing collection of poetry. I listened to it as an audiobook, read by the poet. Smith's variett of rhythm and range of life experiences captured in his poetry are lyrical. I both laughed and cried out loud while listening.

Compeleted for the Book Riot 2020 Read Harder Challenge read an audiobook of poetry.

read this on a recommendation. I liked this book and it's overall theme. I am just not the biggest poetry fan in gernal, which is the reason for 3 stars.
