Jack was the sole survivor of a bioweapon which killed the rest of his team. Scarred, mentally and physically, he retreats from the world to deepest Alaska. But when Grey calls with a job from the Omega Team, the favour he owes will get repaid.
But he didn't reckon on meeting Lisa once again. He left her when he was dealing with the fallout from his last mission, which also killed her brother. But she now has a target on her back after undertaking a covert mission tracking down the manufacturers of the very bioweapon which Jack faced.
With an isolated location in Alaska, this is very much a character and plot led book, there are no distractions from lots of background characters. Great plot and brilliant twists. The romance was very visceral and I'd love to read more from this author.
