This was such an in-depth mystery and a really interesting look at internet and fan culture, trolling and social media. And I love Strike and Robin, but knocking off a bit of a star because obviously still no romantic resolution between the two of them!

Edit woman, edit! I'm not sure why this book wasn't edited down. The page count is too hight for what happens in the book, I sure don't need to know what color of shirt did Robin purchase and why she got a new backpack. I mean - too many details that are not pushing plot or character development. I think it was overcomplicated story - and not in a good way. And at this point - I'm no longer inverted in Robin&Cormoran story - they can't just talk anymore? After the whole thing of always being honest? Come on!

This is a decent book. Not my favorite in the series. There was relationship development between Ellacott and Strike. The plot was hard to follow at times, and I felt it was predictable.
