That was awesome lowkey. The American Pastoral is a lie.
First of the more recent Philip Roth books I've read- really great, interesting slow reveals and descriptions of character motivation, of what could be a little cliche (the REAL story behind a suburban buy who seems to have everything). Highly recommended, definitely going to go out and check out The Human Stain and other late Roth books.

just so slow and plotless. I know this is the point, so I guess this one just want my cup of tea. I think I liked the idea of phillip roth more than the book.
