I hated most of this but I loved sail and he deserved so much better. I feel like I’d like the second one more but the first one just made me mad.

I liked the premise and the idea - it was a little hard to read with all the woman hating and torturing. I don’t love a woman who doesn’t help herself - but I am intrigued with this new male commander

Pushing through because I have heard really good things about this series. Very slow start. Lots of internal monologues, very Stockholm syndrome first book… interested to see where it goes.

This was one that was very slow to start and then grabbed my attention near the end! I was thinking about adding to my DNF but I’ve heard from a few that once you get through this, the rest pick up and I am definitely hopeful for that!
