3.75 Interesting take on the Midas touch! The build up is very interesting, leaves you second guessing Auren and whether or not we as readers can trust her judgement and perception throughout. I’m definitely interested enough to keep reading the series. It also makes you look differently at ever one because who gave the tips?

Severe Trigger Warning! This book is so abusive! It's ever so slightly similar to ACOTAR...blonde jerk who treats her like crap and a handsome Shadow man saves her but there is just so much more abuse it wasn't needed. And every time I was like man this is awful it just got worse. Hoping the other books get better.
