Cara Dee can do no wrong when it comes to her characters 💜

Can the second book be out now?! 🤣 Seriously, this book was so good, if I didn't have work I would have devoured it far faster than I already did.

Leighton & Beckett's story is phenomenal, and has everything Cara is known for. Deep, multi dimensional characters, spice 🔥🥵, some hurt and comfort, suspense,  sweet moments that'll make you SWOON💗, and of course, all the cameos of other characters 🫶.

The moment that Beckett and Leighton finally come together? 🔥🤯💯 Oof. It was sooooo good. And that ending? I cannot WAIT for the second, but thankfully Cara takes care of us so it'll be out soon 🥰. I seriously can't wait to see Leighton with the Quinn family, particularly Darius.

I can't praise this book enough! If you love the Quinn's, The Renegades and The Tenleys then you will adore this as well ✨.

"Unmade" is the second book in the Hillcroft group series. It can be perfectly read as a standalone but it does end in a cliffhanger and the story will conclude in the next book.
One of our main protagonists is Leighton. When he loses his mother at 19 he is left alone. He's never met his father, who is also dead, but he finds a clue that may lead to his father's family. That's how his journey starts and how he eventually ends up at Hillcroft years later. There he meets Bo, one of the operators, who becomes his mentor.
This book had so many things I absolutely adore. A slow burn romance, a very intriguing suspense plotline and deep and well developed characters. I connected with Leighton and Bo instantly and I was really rooting for them. I can't wait to see their relationship grow. The pacing was also fantastic, I was hooked from chapter one and I couldn't put the book down.
Finally, the book had so so so many fantastic cameos ( you won't feel lost all the secondary characters are introduced and explained beautifully).
I can't wait to read the next book, I fell in love with Bo and Leighton and I need to see their happily ever after. And of course I want to see how the suspense story will be resolved and what will happen with Leighton's family! I'm so excited for book two!
