6/5 stars. loooooved it. loved the
subway sex
way less, but the book was enjoyable enough that it could be overlooked. was worried at first, bc chapter 1 August was insufferable, but i'm so glad she let her roommates love her. the supporting cast was very fleshed out and three dimensional, which allowed the book to be as immersive as it was.

Lent it to someone else so it took longer to finish. A steamy and light romance read.

FUCK! I loved this so much. I loved every second. I love queerness and chosen family and finding yourself and love and friendship and belonging. This is truly such a special book. Also…. If you want to get weird on public transit with a curvy, wavy haired, bespectacled bisexual woman… I’m literally right here.

I did not give One Last Stop a favorable review. It just wasn't one for me. I found it hard to relate or even connect with the characters. The writing was great and the storyline could be great. It just missed the mark for me.

Who was going to tell me about the low key fantasy/sci-fi element? How has this been hyped on BookTok for ages and I haven’t seen a single mention of that?
Anyways, it wasn’t terrible but not what I wanted or expected and the writing style isn’t for me.
