Very creative

There are many urban fantasies that receive around the notion of hidden shifters - but what happens when that event happens worldwide, and everyone knows about it? When is a digital world and there is no hiding the fallout? So goes this inventive premise.

Third person, very limited multiple POV, sci-fi urban fantasy, no romance. Minor editing errors.

Great concept but desperately in need of a good editor

I liked the concept and would have rated it another star but the book sorely needs a good editor. Too many simple mistakes, not just grammar but punctuation and word choice, not to mention tenses changing in a sentence, wrong words used that spellcheck wouldn’t pick up (should instead of shoulder) and a brief first person inclusion that made me think this was all first person at one time but batch edited and one got missed?

I’m dying for a shifter series that doesn’t have the usual dominant/submissive (& very inaccurate) theme, but this just wasn’t there for me.

Oh and the bad guy’s plot was just a bit too out there to believe, as well as the fact that all this happens and no one sees a doctor to do ANYTHING in the first few days? Not even for a blood draw? Virus/infected is thrown around as the cause but no one even mentions quarantine or any thought of trying to figure out a biological or DNA-type? You can’t tell me the governments wouldn’t have stepped in somewhere. I know this is not the story the author was trying to tell, but to ground it in the real world and not even consider some of these options.

Wow!!

This was a most excellent story by a new author. The book pulled me in immediately. The characters are very likeable and intense. I am very excited to see where the series goes. I can't wait for the next one!!
