This book was a rollercoster but I loved it non the less.

Unfortunately it also ripped my heart in two and shoved it down my throat.
Why must he continue to kill off my favorite characters?
Seriously I wouldn’t care if Cassie died, I love her, but honestly you could throw her in a volcano and I wouldn’t be as sad about it as I was about who did die.

Woo! Jack my son isn’t a traitor! I knew it in my heart but dang for a moment he had me fooled.

All in all a great book with some good moments. Although it felt slow at times it made up for it with the action that did happen. I did wish we got more of Q or Torstyn or
Maybe even Weltch as it was established in the final of the originals last 2-3 books he was a father figure to Q and I’d like to know what he’s up to.

Not a 5/5 because of the emotional destruction, but also being a little confusing on the rare occasion of not knowing who was talking or weird wording.
Can’t wait for the next book!

I hate these cliff hanger endings! This book was a lot sadder than others in the series.
