It took me a minute to get into this book, but once I did, I absolutely loved it.

I had heard so many rave reviews about this book and whilst the story was intriguing, personally not my cup of tea. Beautifully written though!

This book is undeniably pretentious and tries far too hard to be philosophical, yet that perfectly manages to capture the invincible feeling that love creates in you.

The writing at times is far too chaotic and almost illogical and somehow that represents exactly what love is to me.

This was a WORK OF ART. I cannot begin to describe what this book did to me. I couldn't put the book down; when I did, it was all I could think about. I found myself re-reading parts of the book and dissecting it in my mind constantly. I think it is perfect to describe this novel as a Love story because that is exactly what it is. It's not a romance or a lovey-dovey type of book. It was like reading a modern version of the Symposium by Plato with Regan and Alto's constant Socratic questioning.  It's a thought-provoking, frustrating, and compelling yet entertaining novel about life and what it can be, both the good and the bad. I've never read anything like this before, and it's definitely become a comfort book of mine.  I cannot praise it enough.
