My school is taking on The Resilience Project next year, so I decided to read this as I honestly didn’t know a huge amount about it. Whilst it was very easy to read, it also gave a lot to think about and consider. I’m interested to see if the program for schools is as easy for children to understand as it is for me as an adult reading the book.

I really enjoyed the message in this book - be grateful, empathetic and indulge in mindfulness. Personally I enjoyed the anecdotes.
Not really what I was expecting. This is more of a memoir of Hughs TRP journey.

Gratitude, empathy and mindfulness is what came from this book and since I have listened to it I now have the app and have startred filling the journal in daily. Life lessons can be hard but they are teaching moments for us. I was privleged to have Marty come out and speak to us at the start of the year. I don't know why it took me so long to listen or even read the book that created the Resilience Project. It is a GEM! It has made me think about what I am doing each day. It has made me connect with my inner self and look at life's lessons and my journey in a different way.
3.5* I loved the writing style of this, it made it so smooth and easy to read. Definitely have some takeaways from this book :)
