I'm not sure if I liked this quite as much as the first, but it was still supremely awesome. I'd definitely read it again. And it makes me want to re-read the first one.

This continues the series in the same witty tone of the first volume and we get to tag along as the crew establishes itself, and it is an enjoyable ride, with conflicts and solutions. Nobody will accuse this of subtlety, but that doesn't subtract from the fun. Because, like the first volume, this gives me joy. I need more of these lady pirates in my life.

This volume wasn't quite as strong as the previous one but it did move the story on and developed some of the characters a little more. One thing that does annoy me in the collected graphic novels is the amount of adds that take up space. If they removed the adds I am sure they could get another volume in.

3 and a half stars.

I love this series so much. I originally took off half a star, but the more that I thought of it, it matches Sunshine's character to steal a girl's crop-top, so I'm going to give the book 5 stars.
It's very interesting and empowering, I can't wait to read the next book!

This is a spinoff from the Princeless series and the 2nd of the Pirate Princess books. Raven's all female, extremely diverse crew is coming together especially when they face a challenge on a supply gathering expedition. I read this for the 2017 Hugo nominations (maybe) and for my 2017 Reading challenge "read a book with a subtitle" (PopSugar).

As usual, Princeless is a win with me. This is another fun, feminist, all-ages friendly comic that will appeal to anyone who loves strong women and swashbuckling adventure. This one flawlessly captures the adventure of the high seas and the power of women when they stop tearing each other down and start working together. My biggest complaint is that I didn't love the art in this one but I'm happy to see that the art in the third volume is closer to that of the first.
