It’s a really easy read and it’s a classic dystopian. The community is to protect the society from harm, but the main character decides that it does more harm than good… Or does it?

Y'all this is a series???

The Giver was such a charming little book. It was bleak, it was quick, and I enjoyed the main character. I am a very big fan of mentor-student relationships so that was also interesting.

This has been on my mental TBR for so long, I am glad I checked it off. I do wish it was a little bit longer, I liked the ending but I would have loved to spend a little bit more time with Jonas.

Yeah, cute (but with the intention of being bleak)

First time I’ve read it since middle school. Finished in a day. Love a good dystopian novel. Reflective is a great word to describe it. Excited to read the following novels!
