When this is the dedication, you just know it's gonna be good!

“To all the self-proclaimed good girls who want to be chased through the forest, then fucked by a masked man.”

I really enjoyed this book. It is definitely not for the faint of heart! I loved their friendship and their romantic relationship even more. I absolutely LOVED how dedicated Roman was to Isabella and how much he adored her. I don't know if adored is even a word that matches how much Roman loved his princess.
It was frustrating when Isabella just assumed that Roman had forgotten all about her and didn't just talk to him about it, especially when he was so dedicated to her all that time that it was painful for him. At some points, it seems she was a bit selfish that way. I guess with everything she had to go through, it was justified. I feel like Roman loved Isabella more than she loved him. Even though Roman thought Isabella had forgotten about him, he still went back to her and didn't love her any less.

I just love a book boyfriend who is obsessed, morally grey, and gives "touch her and die" vibes (but with Roman those "touch her and die" vibes are quite literal!).

Tropes:
* Friends-To-Strangers-to-Lovers
* Stalking
* Obsessive MMC
* Touch Her and Die (literally)
* Fighter
* Mafia Vibes
* He got tattoos of her artwork
* Ex-con MMC

Mickey has serious issues. Like severals.
And I think we could say the same for Bella.
They complete each other.

Too repetitive, characters are one-note: obsessed with each other.

Not the best dark romance book I’ve read and there were definitely some things missing in regards to background info/plot but it didn’t effect the storyline entirely so it’s ok to an extent lol.
